Within our Arts track youth are encouraged to express their creativity and discover themselves through various art forms such as Fine Arts, Music, Performing Arts, and Media. Art is known to increase self-worth and self-understanding within youth.
Fine Arts
SBEV offers several different art-related programs which showcase many different styles and mediums:

Music
SBEV offers a dynamic range of music classes taught by industry professionals. Students have the opportunity to learn music production from start to finish, take individual instrument lessons, and become a DJ.

Performing Arts
Tapology is led by the world-famous, Alfred Bruce Bradley. Students that participate in this program will be taught how to tap dance from the very basics to advanced levels of the art.
Theatre is in program partnership with the University of Michigan- Flint and the Flint Repertory Theater for SBEV students to engage in unique theatre workshops.

News Movement teaches the youth of Flint various journalistic skills:
